Article 1 (Application)
These Terms of Use apply to all users of Free Web Apps ("the Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms.
Article 2 (Purpose)
The Service provides web tools such as image compression, video compression, PDF merging and splitting, character counting, and password generation, all completed within the browser.
Article 3 (Free / No registration)
The tools are generally free to use and do not require account or membership registration. However, some features may become paid in the future, in which case we will notify users separately.
Article 4 (Data handling)
The Service does not store or send uploaded files or entered text to our servers. All processing takes place on the user's device. However, due to communication environments or browser specifications, unintended data transmission may occur, so please handle highly confidential information with care.
Article 5 (Prohibited conduct)
Users may not: violate laws or public order and morals; infringe the rights of other users or third parties; interfere with the operation of the Service; engage in unauthorized access or cracking; reverse engineer, analyze, or modify the Service's programs; or place excessive load on the Service.
Article 6 (Intellectual property rights)
Copyrights and other intellectual property rights for text, images, programs, logos, etc. published on the Service belong to the operator or legitimate rights holders. Users may not use these beyond the scope of personal use.
Article 7 (Disclaimer)
The operator is not responsible for any damages caused by using the Service. The Service is provided as-is, and we do not guarantee fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or completeness. Please back up important files and process them at your own risk.
Article 8 (Changes and suspension of service)
The operator may change, add, suspend, or terminate the Service without prior notice. The operator is not responsible for any damages caused to users by such changes.
Article 9 (Changes to terms)
The operator may change these terms as necessary. The revised terms take effect when displayed on the Service.
Article 10 (Governing law and jurisdiction)
These terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes related to the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the operator's place of residence.
