- A. No. All processing happens in your browser.
- Q. Does the output PDF keep searchable text?
- A. Pages without added annotations are copied with their original text and graphics. Pages with added text, shapes, or other annotations are saved as images, so their text is no longer searchable. Keep the original file if you need it.
- Q. Can I edit existing text?
- A. You can add and edit new text, but you cannot directly change text already in the PDF.
- Q. Can I open a PDF with many pages?
- A. The editor displays the first page first and loads thumbnails in groups of eight. You can jump directly to a page number. Available memory and the complexity of the file still affect loading time.
